6 Common Auto Detailing Misconceptions

Each industry has its own set of misconceptions with which to contend and the auto detailing industry, especially, is no exception. We’ve nailed down the top 6 auto detailing misconceptions so we could bust them once and for all.

1) All auto detailing services are the same

The number one auto detailing misconception we see is that all detailing services are created equal. This couldn’t be further from the truth. As with every industry, there are some auto detailers that are better than others and some businesses that have better practices than others. To find the best auto detailers in your area, you’ll need to do research, read reviews, talk to detailers, compare prices, and decide which company fits your needs best.

2) Your car will always look showroom ready after detailing

As we said above, not all auto detailing services are created equal. While some will have your car looking like you just drove it off the showroom floor, others will not. We recommend doing your research before committing to a particular company so you know the quality you can expect from them. We also recommend that you don’t fall into the trap of choosing an auto detailing business based on price. While it’s true, you can get a good deal when you opt for the cheaper detailing service, it’s important to remember that you get what you pay for.

3) Quick washes are the same as full auto detailing services

This is a fatal mistake that we see made time and time again. It’s important to know the difference between the quick washes offered for $10-$20 and the full auto detailing services that cost you $150 or more. The quick washes are just like they sound: quick and unthorough. As we said above, you get what you pay for and these washes are nowhere close to the quality you’ll receive from full detailing services. All this is not to say that quick washes are useless; in fact, they serve a very distinct purpose. If you maintain your car well, these quick washes could help alleviate some of the cost of full detailing services.

4) Drive-through car washes are exterior auto detailing but cheaper

This is a hugely fatal misconception to have. Drive-through car washes use harsh sprayers and chemicals that can cause damage to the paint and finish on your vehicle. Exterior auto detailing is done by professionals with care by hand; the results are much better, risks much lower, and cost much higher. Comparing a drive-through car wash to professional auto detailing services is like comparing apples to oranges; they are simply different things.

5) Auto detailing isn’t worth the cost

Many people think this, followed by “I can just do it at home myself.” The reality is that most of what you’re paying for is the expertise of the professional technicians, the tools they use, and the high-quality products to which they have access, not the actual act of washing your car. You wouldn’t expect the same results from an auto detailing service you pay top dollar for and something you did with a sponge and Dawn at your house, would you?

6) Auto detailing doesn’t require training or expertise

This misconception is downright insulting to the trained detailing experts that have spent a lot of time gaining and honing their skills and expertise. It takes training and practice to be a professional auto detailer; without it, you can run the risk of causing costly damages to people’s vehicles or upsetting or even losing customers. Auto detailing without training or expertise is just a hazard and, frankly, a waste of money.

If you require expert detailing services, call Mobile Detailing Pros at 800-557-5134 or visit our website to reserve your appointment today. Our expert auto detailers will handle all your detailing needs professionally and accurately.

What’s Holding Back the Auto Detailing Industry

The auto detailing industry isn’t suffering by any means, but it just doesn’t seem to be expanding. Whether you’re an avid customer wanting to encourage the industry or you’re a detailer yourself wondering how you can expand your business, we’ve found the answer to your questions.

So what is it holding back the auto detailing industry? The answer isn’t so simple.

Prices are just too low

Anyone who has ever spent hundreds of dollars on auto detailing services would probably struggle to believe that this could be something happening to the industry, but hear us out. We’ve all seen the pop-up detailing operations that offer “quick” exterior detailing services for just $5 or $10. While some don’t trust a detailing service offered so cheaply, many take advantage of the significantly lower price.

faster auto detailing

But what does this have to do with the rest of the detailers in the industry? It’s simple; they can’t compete. Everyone wants the service that takes less time and costs less. The major problem is that these services are also much lower quality than the auto detailing services for which you pay hundreds.

Employee struggles

The fact of the matter is that good expert car detailers are hard to come by. A big part of the auto detailing industry’s struggle is finding quality employees that stick around. If detailers are good, they’ll go on to start their own independent company. If they aren’t, you’ll struggle to get the work done you need.

best mobile detailing near me

Detailing businesses also tend to struggle with a high employee turnover rate. Many detailing operations don’t offer benefits and society, on the whole, tends to look down on those in this line of work, seeing it as more of a hobby than a business.

The auto detailing industry is in a transition period

Like many other industries, the auto detailing industry is struggling to get a grip on its place in the 21st century. While mobile auto detailing is clearly trying to bridge the gap, even that industry hasn’t regulated itself enough to be an established practice; each mobile detailing business operates differently.

auto detailing at home

The auto detailing industry itself is in a transition period, trying to rebuild and restructure itself to better fit their 21st-century customers. Over the next few years, the kinks will hopefully be worked out so that the auto detailing industry, though the same at the core, better suits its modern clientele and their needs.

What does all this mean for the auto detailing industry?

Some, who are very accustomed to auto detailing staying the same for as long as it has been an industry, will be alarmed by this, thinking it the end of the auto detailing industry as they know it. However, modern customers shouldn’t be concerned at all; they should be excited! The industry is restructuring itself to better serve its 21st-century employees and customers so it can continue to provide a necessary service, rather than become obsolete.

5 Little Changes That’ll Make a Big Difference with Your Vehicle

We’ve seen more blog posts and heard more questions surrounding basic car care than we can count. People always want to know what steps they can take to make their cars last longer and the upkeep costs less. We asked our expert technicians so we could find you an answer once and for all. Without further ado, we’ve compiled the top five easy things you can do for your vehicle that make a big difference in its longevity and functionality.

1) Change Your Oil Regularly

Many people don’t understand the importance of having their oil changed regularly and on time. They assume that, so long as they change it every once in awhile, everything will be fine. This couldn’t be further from the truth. In order for your car to function at its best and last as long as possible, you have to have your oil changed regularly at the popular increments; changing it too soon is a waste of money and waiting too long can cause damages to your engine, so make sure you’re staying on top of it.

2) Get an Inspection When You Go for an Oil Change

Many people that don’t live in states that require yearly inspections make the fatal error of not having their car inspected at all. Likewise, people who have to have the yearly inspection think that’s enough to cover it and put getting an inspection off until then. You should get your vehicle inspected when you go in for an oil change. Many mechanics will even offer a complimentary inspection with an oil change. Keeping up with regular inspections, much like your own checkups at the doctor, will help you to catch damages or failures early.

3) Get Your Car Detailed Regularly

You wouldn’t necessarily think keeping your car clean would have an effect on how it functions, but it does. Ignoring car detailing can lead to debris getting caked onto your vehicle that could cause damage to the paint. Skipping out on regular detailing services can lead to premature rusting, engine failure, tire problems, and many other issues. Don’t let this happen to you; call Mobile Detailing Pros at 800-557-5134 or visit our website to book your detailing service today.

4) Never Ignore the ‘Check Engine’ Light

The ‘check engine’ light in your car serves a specific and important function; it’s not just a suggestion. If your ‘check engine’ light has just come on, don’t ignore it; make an appointment with your mechanic right then and there so you’re sure to catch whatever problem early on, saving you a lot of trouble and expense.

5) Stay Alert

When driving your car, it’s important that you pay attention to any sounds or feelings that are out of the ordinary. Car trouble has a way of sneaking up on you at the most inconvenient times; don’t be caught off-guard: know the signs so you can act quickly and not do any more damage to your engine.

How do you convince them that mobile detailing is safe and convenient? Mobile Detailing Pros are here to help! We’ve put together five great tips to help you try to convince your skeptical friend.

One of the best ways to convince a mobile detailing skeptic is to show them firsthand that there’s nothing to worry about. Have them over the day of your detailing appointment and let them witness how safe, convenient, and reliable mobile detailing services can be with their own eyes. This might help to show them that they had nothing to worry about and they may try it for themselves.

2) Backup Your Claims with Research

Show them all the different mobile detailing companies in your area and how many satisfied customers they appear to have. Show them all the reviews available on various websites to show them that there’s nothing to worry about, many people use and love mobile auto detailing services every day.

3) Encourage Them to Talk to the Mobile Detailing Technicians

What better way to reassure your skeptic than to have them talk to the professionals themselves? Our expert detailing technicians will be happy to answer any and all of your questions to the best of their ability. They want you to feel comfortable with our mobile detailing services.

4) Help Them Find a Good Deal

People are often more inclined to try something new if they can get a good deal on it. When you book an appointment with Mobile Detailing Pros, we’ll give you a discount if we can detail more than one car in one trip. Invite your skeptic friend over to have their car detailed too; they’ll get to try it out and you’ll both get a great deal!

5) Show Them the Results

If you trust mobile detailing services and you’re trying to convince a skeptic, just show them the results of the services you’ve gotten. Prove to them that there’s nothing to worry about and that there’s no greater risk than there is with any other detailing service. Remind them that, even if the worst were to happen, detailing businesses are always insured.

Car Detailing: 5 Savvy Ways to Detail Your Car

Part of taking care of your car is keeping it in good condition, which includes car detailing. Unfortunately, car detailing isn’t always cheap. We’re here to help! We’ve come up with 5 savvy ways you can save money with your car detailing services.

1) Give Mobile Detailing a Shot

With the mobile car detailing industry taking off, almost every area has a pop-up mobile detailing setup somewhere in their surrounding area. These pop-ups offer quality detailing services quickly and at a low cost. It’s important to note, however, that these services are only useful when you’ve been maintaining your car’s detailing. They don’t offer extensive detailing services through these quick services.

2) Maintain Your Car Detailing Services

Many people make the fatal mistake of thinking detailing services last months and months without any upkeep at all. If you want to get the most out of your detailing services, you have to take care of them. Here’s a rundown of basic maintenance to ensure your car detailing services last as long as possible, for more information please see our blog post:

  • Wash your car regularly with proper tools
  • Keep your car covered by either parking in covered areas (garages, carports) or using a tarp
  • Rinse off your car to eliminate debris from the surface

Maintaining your car detailing services will ensure that you’re getting the most out of your investment and that you can utilize the quick detailing we mentioned above, keeping your car nice for less.

3) Do Your Research

Don’t just go with the first mobile detailing service you find, but shop around a little to ensure you’re getting the absolute best value. If you live within Mobile Detailing Pros wide service area, call us at 800-557-5134 or visit our website to schedule your hassle-free appointment today. Our expert technicians are highly trained professionals ready to take on whatever detailing task you throw at them.

4) Don’t Try to Do It All Yourself

It may seem like a good idea to save some money by doing your car detailing yourself, but you may end up doing damage that will cost a whole lot more to fix than the detailing services would have in the first place. Rather than make this fatal error, you should just let the professionals handle it in the first place. If you must do it yourself, make sure you’ve done all your research before you attempt detailing your vehicle.

5) Vacuum Your Interior Yourself

One way you can cut corners with interior detailing services and ensure that you don’t get charged extra is by vacuuming your interior carpet yourself. This task is easy to accomplish without risk of damages and it can save you a bundle. The most common reason for extra charges for car detailing services is having to vacuum excess dog hair, debris, crumbs, etc. or extra shampooing.

If you need to cut corners with car detailing services, Mobile Detailing Pros is here to help you figure out where you can. We realize that even though detailing your car is a necessary part of car care, it’s often expensive to keep it up. With these 5 savvy tips, you can save money without sacrificing the care your car needs.

Mobile Detailing Explained Simply

We’ve heard many people asking lately: “What exactly is mobile detailing? And how is it any different from the traditional auto detailing services? Do you even need auto detailing?” We’re here to provide answers for these questions once and for all. We’ve sat down and talked with customers and experts to determine what you need to know about mobile detailing and to find the simplest way to explain it.

So what is mobile detailing?

Mobile detailing is not as complicated as it sounds. On the surface, the term “mobile detailing” just refers to an auto detailing company that does not operate out of a garage or storefront, but rather in parking lots, at the customer’s home, or something like that. All detailing operations have their own unique policies and packages that they offer, though they can be similar to each other. Some operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but others don’t. Some even rent a building to offer detailing services at very limited hours. You’ll have to do a little research to know what the specific company you’re looking at offers.

How does auto detailing work?

Auto detailing, both traditional and mobile, involves trained technicians deep cleaning the exterior and potentially interior of your vehicle in an effort to make it look showroom-ready. They often apply waxes or sealants to your vehicle so their hard work will last longer and protect the surface of your vehicle. Exterior detailing alone is usually cheaper and faster, while the combo exterior/interior package will cost you a little more time and money, but the results are worth it.

How is mobile detailing different?

Mobile detailing, unlike traditional detailing, is all about the convenience. Many of detailing services, like Mobile Detailing Pros, will come to your specified location and detail the vehicle there. This means you won’t have to get out of work to take your car to be detailed, you won’t even need to leave your office; we’ll detail your car for you in the parking lot. You won’t have to find a babysitter, we’ll come to your house and detail your car while you spend quality time with your family inside. We’re all about getting you the detailing services you require in the most convenient way possible.

Why does my car need to be detailed at all? Can’t I just wash it myself?

The long and short of it is this: no you can’t. Sure, you can do some level of washing at home but it pales in comparison to what the detailing companies can do for you and for your vehicle. Washing it yourself can result in using the wrong chemicals, sprayers, water, process, or towels, leading to damages in the appearance of your vehicle and maybe even in its structure. Auto detailing services may seem like a lot, but trust us, they’re worth it.

How do I find quality mobile detailing services?

So you’ve made the decision to give mobile detailing a shot, but who do you trust? Sure, a simple Google search will provide you with all the mobile detailing services provided in your area, but it won’t tell you the best one to choose. First, we recommend finding out if you live within Mobile Detailing Pros huge service area. We provide excellent, trustworthy service with no hassle guaranteed. You can make your appointment by visiting our website or giving us a call at 800-557-5134. If you don’t, we recommend checking out this handy blog post, which will provide you with a simple guide to picking a mobile detailing company you can trust.

Mobile Car Detailing: Expectation vs. Reality

Despite mobile car detailing becoming more popular, there are still quite a few misconceptions floating around. We want our customers to be 100% satisfied with the results of their mobile detailing service and in order for that to happen, they have to know what to expect. In this article, we’ll discuss common expectations and what their actual reality looks like so you can rest assured you know what to expect.

Expectation: All Mobile Car Detailers Operate the Same Way

Many people assume that all mobile detailing operations work the same way and offer the same services. It’s often mistaken that all mobile detailers operate 24-hours a day or that they all set-up shop somewhere in town for you to come by for a quick detailing for a lower, flat rate.

Reality: Each Mobile Car Detailing Operation is Different

“Mobile detailing” really just means that it’s an auto detailing company without a storefront. It doesn’t inherently mean that they provide detailing services at your location or that they operate for 24 hours. Some mobile detailing operations do have a storefront or garage of sorts, but not all. Others choose to offer speedy, cheaper detailing services at pop-up operations around their city. If you have a specific idea in mind for the type of mobile car detailing services you require, then ask the places around you if they provide that service, don’t just assume they do.

Here’s how we work: We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We will come to whatever location you specify and detail your car, no hassle or effort required on your part.

Expectation: A Quick, Basic Exterior Detailing Will Make My Car Look Brand New

Many people think that all the different services mobile detailing operations offer are a way of gouging more money out of you. They think that the simple, $20-$30 quick wash you can get from a mobile detailing pop-up in a parking lot will provide the same results as the exterior/interior detailing that costs upwards of $100. After all, it is just washing your car, isn’t it?

Reality: If You Want Real Results, You’ll Have to Invest the Time and Money

In all honesty, if you’re cutting corners with your mobile car detailing, you can’t expect top-quality, professional results. Don’t get us wrong, those quick washes can be a great way to get your car washed, but it’s little more than a simple wash. The big exterior and/or interior detailing packages offered include things like waxing, applying sealants, vacuuming and shampooing the interior, and anything else your vehicle might require to get it looking like you just drove it out of the showroom. If you’re expecting huge results, don’t waste your time or money on a quick wash.

Expectation: Mobile Car Detailing is Always Cheaper than Traditional Car Detailing

This is yet another misconception that occurs because of people assuming all mobile detailing operations function the same way and cost around the same. Many people expect all mobile detailing operations to be less expensive than traditional detailing. For some, that’s the entire reason they chose mobile detailing in the first place!

Reality: Mobile Detailing Prices Vary

As we’ve said before, each mobile detailing company has its own unique policies and prices. Some may be very reasonably priced, others may seem like they’re trying to take advantage of you. We recommend doing your research to understand what all factors go into the pricing and to gain an understanding of the price range for detailing services in your area. In all reality, mobile detailing operations are more concerned with offering you the most convenience, not the lowest price.

If you’d like to set up auto detailing services, give us a call today at 800-557-5134 or visit our website. Our expert technicians will have your vehicle looking good as new without any inconvenience or hassle.

5 Tips for Safe Holiday Traveling

If there’s one thing that’s true of a large majority during the holidays it’s traveling in some respect. Whether you’re traveling 15 miles or 300, road safety should be your top concern. People are on the roads that only drive a handful of times throughout the year and most everyone is distracted in some way or another; it’s one of the most dangerous times of the year to travel, but you also don’t have an option unless you want to miss your loved ones for the holiday season. Mobile Detailing Pros is here to help you get to your holiday festivities safely with our top five driving safety tips for the holidays.

1) Make Sure Your Vehicle is in Good Condition

The very first step to traveling safely is ensuring your vehicle is in the best condition it can be. Get an inspection, change your oil if necessary, and have your vehicle’s interior and exterior detailed. This will ensure you won’t face any avoidable engine failures or damages as you travel and your vehicle is in top condition. Remember, you’ll need to get your vehicle detailed after you return to remove the road salt and prevent damages to your finish.

2) Keep with Traffic

Many people make the mistake of thinking that driving slower is inherently safer, which actually couldn’t be further from the truth, especially on the interstate. It’s important that you keep moving with traffic; don’t drive too fast or too slow. If you keep at the speed traffic at which is moving and at the appropriate distance, you’ll be much safer on the road.

3) Stay Alert

As we mentioned before, most of the drivers on the road during the holidays are highly distracted. People pull crazy moves, particularly on the interstate. It’s crucial that you stay alert and focused as you’re driving so you can be prepared to react in a moment’s notice if necessary to keep yourself safe.

4) Minimize Distractions

In order to stay alert, as mentioned in the last section, you have to be willing to minimize distractions in your vehicle. You’re likely distracted enough with everything going on with the holidays and reaching your destination, you don’t need anything else detracting from your focus. Keep your conversation to a minimum, don’t put on the radio, minimize distracting sounds in the vehicle, and whatever else you need to do to keep yourself from being distracted.

5) Don’t Make Foolish, Rash Decisions

Part of the reason that traffic is so bad during the holidays is that the roads are full of distracted people making sudden, unwise decisions when driving. If you miss your exit or turn, don’t snap quickly into the lane to catch it without looking at the other vehicles around you; get the next exit or turn and turn around. Everyone on the road is in a rush to reach their destination, but nothing is as important as your family and your safety.

No matter where you’re traveling this holiday season, make sure you get there safely. From all of us at Mobile Detailing Pros, we wish you a happy holiday season!

Interior Detailing Tips: Removing Makeup Stains

Removing makeup stains from a vehicle’s interior must be done with care. This task can sometimes be accomplished easily, but other times it can take a little more effort or even a particularly important. It’s key that you do your research before you tackle it, though, so you’re absolutely sure that you won’t damage your upholstery with harsh, aggressive chemicals. As you can imagine, there are a few tips and tricks for the process you use to help expedite it and we’re here to help you master them!

1) Treat the Stain Right Away

Most cosmetics have oily substances in them and those substances oxidize when they’re left in the open air; you want to make sure you treat those right away to minimize damage. Another reason you should treat it right away is the tendency of certain cosmetic products to seep deeply into the fabrics, making them almost impossible to remove without pre-treating.

2) Don’t Overthink It

If the cosmetic staining the fabric is water-based and doesn’t contain oily substances, you don’t need anything more than a soft sponge dipped in a warm soap/water solution. Gently rub the affected area with the soft sponge covered in your warm soap/water solution until the stain is gone.

3) Ammonia Could Help

If you have a particularly difficult stain with which to contend, you can pre-treat it with a soft cotton pad that you’ve dipped in a 10% ammonia solution, applying it gently and letting it sit for a few minutes. Next, sprinkle a small amount of baking soda on top of the stain; let that sit for a couple of minutes more, then clean it off using the method described in tip two. Keep in mind that you don’t want to apply too much pressure on the upholstery fabric because some are particularly delicate, causing you to further complicate your problem unwittingly.

4) Synthetic Fabric is a Little Different

If your car’s interior is upholstered with a synthetic fabric, use a cotton pad dipped in hot water and a delicate cleaning product first but only where the stain is. Rub the stained area gently with a wet sponge or towel. This method can prove particularly useful for pale-colored fabrics, but not so useful with brightly-colored fabrics.

5) Tackling Lipstick Stains

Lipsticks are one of those cosmetics notorious for having oily substances in them, making them difficult to remove, only worse, they’re pigmented. While these stains are tricky, they aren’t impossible to remove. If you apply several drops of dishwashing detergent to the stain and gently rub it with a soft sponge or brush, you should be able to accomplish the task.

6) Removing Liquid Foundation

Liquid foundation, like lipstick, can be particularly difficult to remove from upholstery. If you use an old toothbrush to apply a mild cleaning detergent directly to the stain, rubbing gently with a clean sponge dipped in warm water until the stained area gets smaller, you can remove the stain simply. You can also use a standard wet wipe instead of a sponge if that’s what you have available.

7) Treating Nail Polish Stains

Nail polish is one of the toughest stains to remove; you must handle the task with extreme care and attention. Make sure you don’t rub the surface of your interior upholstery, but rather try to absorb the polish into a towel if it’s still damp; if you rub, you’ll only make the stain worse. Once you’ve absorbed all you can, it’s time to try a little acetone (nail polish remover). Using an old towel (because it will get stained with the nail polish) dipped in acetone, press on the stain, but do not rub. Your best bet is to press and absorb. Once the polish is paler, replace your acetone-soaked towel with a dry one and resume pressing to ensure that the substance absorbs into the towel, rather than more acetone absorbing into your upholstery. It may take more than one attempt, but this should do the trick. If your interior is upholstered with a delicate fabric or leather, do not use acetone.

If you’re still struggling to remove pesky stains from cosmetics, give us a call at 800-557-5134. Our expert technicians will remove your stains with ease and have your vehicle looking good as new as quickly as possible. You can also request an appointment through our website.

Go Green with Auto Detailing

Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately, you’ve likely seen the latest boost in environmental concern in citizens, businesses, and government officials. The auto detailing industry is no exception, especially considering all the chemicals they need to use daily. It’s not the easiest for the auto detailing industry to go green, but with a little research and a lot of effort, you can accomplish the task and do your part to help the environment. We’re here to help! Without further ado, here’s what you need to know about going green with auto detailing!

Go to the Professionals

Did you know that professional auto detailers are more environmentally friendly than the old standby method of sponges and buckets at home? The first and easiest step towards greener auto detailing is leaving it to the professionals instead of doing it yourself at home.

If you don’t know which auto detailers to trust, give Mobile Detailing Pros a call at 800-557-5134 or visit mobiledetailingpros.com to request an appointment or price quote. We have one of the largest service areas in the US and our auto detailing operation is entirely mobile and available 24/7.

Use Only Eco-Friendly, Biodegradable Auto Detailing Products

Most companies that make detailing soaps make eco-friendly options now. Call the manufacturer of your favorite auto detailing products or visit their website to find out if they offer greener alternatives. If you’re relying on the professionals, give your detailers a call and make sure they’re using only environmentally-friendly and biodegradable products.

  • When looking for new environmentally-friendly products, you need to ensure that they are also non-toxic. Steer clear of any auto detailing products containing petroleum-distillates, silicone, kerosene, or mineral spirits.

Recycle and Reuse Water

Here’s another area where defaulting to the professionals could help you out. Many people don’t realize that professional car detailers use considerably less water than you would detailing your car at home. Many car detailers utilize reclaim technology, allowing them to recycle and reuse their rinse water.

You also want to make sure you or they are using foam brushes and soft-touch technologies rather than a touchless wash as it’s more efficient. Touchless washes tend to use more water and they require higher concentrations of chemicals.

Use High-Pressure Washing Systems

Another way to use even less water in your auto detailing process to use high-pressure washing systems. They require even less water than average car washes. High-pressure nozzles use their water much more efficiently. These nozzles and the computerized washing systems use water only when needed and measure in order to only use the necessary amount of water, as opposed to a hose which keeps wasting water until the job is done. Not only does this cut down on waste and water usage, but it will also reduce your operating costs.

Using Alternative Energy Sources

An even greener approach is to find alternative energy sources like solar power and wind energy. Make sure the auto detailing service you choose utilizes more eco-friendly, alternative energy sources. If you can’t find one, ask the manager if they might consider switching; it’s better for the environment, lowers operating costs, and could draw in new clients.

Reuse, Reduce

When you detail your car yourself, opt for using reusable cloths over disposable products, like microfiber cloths and towels. When using professional auto detailing services, tell your detailers you’d prefer them to use reusable products.

There’s no quick, easy answer when it comes to going green with auto detailing, but the environment is important. With our easy guide, you can be well on your way to a more environmentally-friendly auto detailing process!
